Administrative Fellowship Program
Fellowship Mission and Purpose
The St. Joseph Health’s Administrative Fellowship is a unique program
designed to create and cultivate leaders in the health care industry.
Located in Northern California, our program allows fellows to work closely
with our executive team, contributing at the highest levels to improve
and maintain the health of our neighbors. The program is run by each of
the St. Joseph Health hospitals, coordinated and managed directly by each
hospital’s Chief Operating Officer, as well as the strategic services team.
Each fellow will have an opportunity to receive hands-on mentoring and
training in the field of health care administration and will actively
engage with local and regional leaders. Fellows will be exposed to a variety
of projects, including operational, financial, strategic, and project
management initiatives. The ideal fellow is an individual who is driven
and aligned to our mission, vision, and values.
Our mission is to extend the healing ministry of Jesus according to the
tradition established by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange. We do this
by continually improving the health and quality of life of our community.
We unite health care professionals to improve the health of our neighbors,
promote healthy living, and create healthy communities through compassionate care.
We accomplish our vision in various ways:
- Youth programs
- Physician referrals
- Services provided to the community
- Grants awarded to community organizations
- The dedication of each of our employees to our mission
St. Joseph Health is led by our commitment to four core values: Dignity,
Service, Excellence, and Justice.
Each person is a unique expression of life and is thus a valuable member
of the human community. We treat each person with dignity and respect.
Our team is made of people who are eager to serve, seeing every interaction
as an opportunity to help each other, the community, and society as a whole.
We develop our team personally and professionally through innovation, teamwork,
We are advocates for the vulnerable and disadvantaged. We promote systems
and structures that meet their needs and create an inclusive community.
