Don Miller

Don Miller is the Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Queen of the Valley Medical Center.

Mr. Miller obtained an MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University in San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Sacramento State College.

He has an extensive background in healthcare that commenced in 1981 at Sutter Delta Medical Center in Antioch where he served as an Accountant, Financial Analyst, Controller, Director Fiscal Services, Assistant Administrator of Finance, and Interim CEO. From 1992 to 1994 Mr. Miller served as the Vice President of Finance, Planning and Analysis for the Sutter Health Corporate Office in Sacramento.

Mr. Miller served as the Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Queen of the Valley Hospital from 1994 to 1999. In 1999 he accepted the position of Senior Vice President of Finance and CFO for the St. Joseph Health, Sonoma County. Mr. Miller also served as the Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley.

In 2004 Mr. Miller was the St. Joseph Health-wide recipient of the Values in Action Award for Excellence.
