Sr. Marian Schubert, CSJ

Sister Marian Schubert became a Sister of St. Joseph of Orange in 1978. After completing her novitiate she was missioned to study nursing at Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles.
In 1985 she and Sister Martha Marie Linares had the opportunity to help start the St. Joseph Health's first community outreach program - La Amistad De Jose, a free clinic for low income families.
In 1991 Sister Marian graduated with a Master of Science Degree and Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from UCSF. Immediately after graduation she helped to start Santa Rosa Memorial's free mobile clinic for children.
Next, Sister Marian was missioned to Mission Hospital to work as a nurse practitioner at Camino Health Center in 1995. Gradually over time she got more and more involved in the administrative side of health care.
She has served in the role of Vice President of Mission Integration for Mission Hospital, St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley and now here at the Queen.
She is happy to be here and looks forward to continuing to serve the needs of the Napa Valley community.
