Napa, CA – In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Queen of the Valley Medical Center will host award-winning author and national inspirational speaker Laura Jensen Walker, Wednesday, October 24th at the Napa Valley Opera House.
A fifteen-year breast-cancer survivor, Laura is the author of ten non-fiction humor books, including Thanks for the Mammogram! and Mentalpause. Her third novel, Reconstructing Natalie is a funny and poignant story of a young, single woman who gets breast cancer and how her life is reconstructed as a result.
Laura delights in touching lives through the healing power of laughter. During the event she will share her triumphant story, her passion for writing and the inspiration behind her latest novel.
