Napa, CA – Queen of the Valley Medical Center Foundation is proud to present the 15th Annual "Reach for the Stars" fashion show and luncheon, April 26, 2008 at the Meritage Resort. Proceeds from this annual fundraiser will go towards the purchase of a new 40-slice PET CT scanner for Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
For the past 15 years, "Reach for the Stars" has raised awareness and has contributed toward the purchase of several technological breakthroughs in cancer treatment, keeping Queen of the Valley Medical Center at the forefront in the fight against cancer.
The new PET CT scanner replaces the Queen’s previous 16-slice scanner and will produce much higher quality images, even detecting lesions at 3 mm, far before they show up on the body.
Queen of the Valley Medical Center Foundation will also have special "stars" available in honor or remembrance of those who have been touched by cancer. For a $100 donation, a star with the honoree’s name will help decorate the ballroom on the day of the event. The honoree’s name will also be listed in the official program.
Reception begins at 11:00 a.m. Admission is $70 per guest.
