Napa, California – Elizabeth Glenn-Bottari, RN, MA, Executive Director of the Synergy Medical Fitness Center at Queen of the Valley Medical Center, has been named 2008 outstanding administrator by the Medical Fitness Association (MFA). The MFA, an affiliate of the American Hospital Association and which oversees approximately 950 medical fitness centers and over 3 million members across the U.S., also recognized Synergy Medical Fitness Center as the outstanding medical fitness center in the nation - open less than three years.

The unique Synergy Medical Fitness Center concept integrates exercise and fitness with disease prevention, disease management and rehabilitation services including weight management, diabetes wellness, nutrition/stress counseling, and arthritis management. "With new Youth Fitness, Integrative Health, Pilates and other wellness initiatives being introduced this fall, Elizabeth and the team at the medical fitness center will have an even greater positive influence on the lives of our friends, co-workers, neighbors and family.," Sisto said.
