Queen of the Valley Medical Center Hosts Presentation by National Authority on "Nutrition Focused Health"

(Napa, CA) – On October 30th Queen of the Valley Medical Center will host a presentation by Eleanor Hynote, M.D., the Founder and Director of Phoenix Well Care. Dr. Hynote will discuss the many potential advantages of an approach to health care that incorporates conventional and integrative medicine from Western and Eastern practices along with the most recent advances in bioengineering and advanced diagnostics.

"Integrative Medicine is a science-based approach which treats illness and promotes wellness by focusing on the body’s biochemical processes in order to discover the underlying causes of disease," Dr. Hynote explains. "Treatments focus on nutrition, lifestyle changes, exercise and natural remedies employing current and safe therapies."

A Vassar graduate, Dr. Hynote received her M.D. from The University of California at Irvine and her residency training at The California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. She completed a fellowship in clinical nutrition and metabolism from The University of California at Davis. She participated in the first training group in Botanical Medicine at Columbia University with Andrew Weil, M.D.. Dr Hynote specializes in restoration of immune and metabolic systems through nutrition and bioidentical hormone modulation.
