(Napa, CA) – On September 29th, Queen of the Valley Medical Center will host a seminar entitled "Robotically-Assisted Surgery – The Wave of the Future" during which top area surgeons will discuss and answer questions regarding the many advantages provided to physicians and their patients by this exciting, state-of-the-art surgical technology.
The Queen of the Valley Medical Center was one of the first hospitals in California to offer the da Vinci Robotically-Assisted Surgery System. Our surgical robot was recently upgraded to help highly trained physicians perform additional surgical procedures using minimally invasive techniques. This ultimately raises the standard of care for complex surgeries, translating into numerous potential patient benefits. Those state-of-the-art techniques make it possible for many surgical patients to recover more quickly, with less pain, less blood loss and with a lowered risk of infection. Surgeons enjoy superior visualization, enhanced dexterity, greater precision and ergonomic comfort with the
da Vinci Surgical System.
