(Napa, CA) – Delroy McFarlane, M.D., a specialist in internal medicine, recently joined Queen of the Valley Medical Associates (QVMA), a locally owned physician group. Dr. McFarlane became the eighth physician to join the group since its formation in May 2010.
Physicians employed by QVMA provide outpatient and hospital-based services at facilities operated by Queen of the Valley Medical Center, as well as conduct private practices in their care areas or specialties.
Dr. McFarlane has been board-certified in internal medicine since 1994 and his focus is on adult primary care. He maintained a private practice in Gardnerville, Nev., before recently moving his practice to Napa. He also was a member of the staff at Beaver Medical Group, Department of Internal Medicine, in Redlands, Calif., from 1988 to 2000.
From 1993 to 1994, Dr. McFarlane served as Chairman of Internal Medicine and as a member of the Executive Committee for Redlands Community Hospital. He also fulfilled the role of Chairman of Internal Medicine at Beaver Medical Group during that same time period.
