QUEEN OF THE VALLEY REGIONAL WOUND CARE CENTER OFFERS NEW HOPE FOR PATIENTS WITH NON-HEALING WOUNDS

(Napa, CA) Queen of the Valley Medical Center recently opened its Regional Wound Care Center. The Center offers comprehensive, personalized planning to assess and effectively treat chronic, non-healing wounds including diabetic, arterial, venous, pressure, surgical, and other types of wounds.

The new Wound Care Center also provides a combination of diagnostic services, debridement,
compression therapy, special advanced treatment dressings, family, and caregiver education.
Queen of the Valley Regional Wound Care Center Medical Director, Leland Raymond, MD
explains, "The Queen’s Wound Care Center uses the very latest, most advanced treatments to
help patients get better and get back to enjoying life. Our team of specially trained nurses and
medical professionals work collaboratively to develop a personalized treatment plan for each
patient."

In addition to being provided with a comprehensive treatment plan, the patients are educated on
their medical condition, nutritional status and how to assist in the healing process and prevent
future wounds.

"This exciting, comprehensive program provides a level of personalized care unsurpassed in the
region," says Rebecca Wilks, RN, CWS, Program Coordinator, "We follow each case closely,
from start to finish, until our patients’ difficult wounds are healed to the greatest possible
degree."
