(Napa, CA ) – Queen of the Valley’s Wellness Center will host a FREE Open House event showcasing its Institute of Integrative Health services on Wednesday, February 2, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The event will feature health and wellness service information on a variety of different topics ranging from Stress Management to Esthetician services, in a casual yet informative setting.
Professionals in the areas of Stress Mastery, Nutrition, Rosen Method & Comfort Touch, Meditation and Wellness, Feldenkrais, Facial & Body Treatments, Diabetes Wellness, and other services offered at the Institute of Integrative Health, will provide valuable information and answer questions about their services and programs offered. Free demonstrations, contests, information tables, service/product samples & service discounts will also be offered.
The Institute for Integrative Health is located on the second floor of Queen of the Valley’s Wellness Center (above Synergy Medical Fitness Center). "The Institute for Integrative Health represents yet another way we are continuing our commitment to helping people get well and stay healthy" says Elizabeth Glenn-Bottari, Vice President, Chief Operating Officer Integrative Health Wellness & Health Improvement Division at St. Joseph Health. The Wellness Center’s newly established Institute for Integrative Health is an integral component of the Queen of the Valley Medical Center’s ongoing outreach effort in support of the Queen’s Healthiest Communities initiatives, which include among other things educating the community about common yet preventable illnesses, such as diabetes, a program that was recently given recognition by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
