Jim is a former Vice President Group Manager with Kaiser Steel Corporation in Oakland.

He has held the positions of Chairman and Director with Napa Valley Bank, Sonoma Valley Bank, Napa Valley Bancorp and Westamerica Bancorp. He was one of the Founding Directors of the Queen of the Valley Hospital Foundation and previously served on the Hospital Board of Trustees from 1983 through 1989. He was born and has resided in Napa all of his life.
