Access to Care
Queen of the Valley Reaches Out to Napa County Children
Children's health care Coverage
Did you know that almost one million children in California are uninsured? Over 80% are from working families, but the cost of health insurance is rising faster than the rate of inflation for both families and employers.
Queen of the Valley Medical Center and the St. Joseph Health are part of a broad coalition of health care providers and advocacy organizations in California working to protect children's health by offering better access to health care for those who are uninsured.
Does Your Child Need Health Coverage?
It is estimated that nearly two-thirds of uninsured children may be eligible for state-funded health care coverage. Let us help you determine if your child qualifies for one of these programs.
Coverage may include:
- Doctor visits
- Dentist visits
- Vision care
- Mental health services
- Other health care benefits
