Waiting Areas

Waiting areas are designed to provide a comfortable place for families to rest and relax when visiting a patient. Sleeping is not permitted in the waiting areas. It is best to go home if you or a family member is tired.

Please do not bring large groups to the waiting areas. If you have a large family or group of people, we ask that you use the Lobby and Cafeteria areas as much as possible to help minimize noise and maintain a safe environment.

The Queen's Café

The Queen's Café is located down the hall from the Lobby and across from the first elevator. The Café is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with plenty of indoor seating and an adjacent outdoor patio. Hot meals are served 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., and 4:00p.m. - 6:00 p.m. At all times, vending machines are available to serve snacks and drinks.

Gift Shop - The Queen's Collection

The Queen’s Collection is located next to the Lobby by the main medical center entrance. The Queen’s Collection offers a wide variety of unique items for the home and gifts for all ages, including flowers for patients. Take this link to visit The Queen’s Collection on-line store.

ATMs

Visitors who require access to an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) have 24-hour access in the Queen's Café

Smoke-Free Campus

As of March 1, 2010 Queen of the Medical Center became a smoke-free campus. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings, parking lots and outdoor areas.
