Dr. Dugan graduated Cum Laude from Georgetown University School of Medicine
in Washington, D.C. While attending Georgetown, he received awards for
academic excellence in Physiology, Biochemistry and Biophysics, while
studying Internal Medicine. He was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha fraternity
of honor scholars.
In 1983, Dr. Dugan relocated to Northern California to complete his internship
and residency at the University of California, San Francisco. After completing
his residency, he served as chief medical resident. Dr. Dugan continued
at UC San Francisco for his fellowship training in medical oncology and
hematology, including one year with Genentech as a clinical fellow.
After finishing his training in San Francisco, he moved to Napa opening
a Hematology / Medical Oncology practice in 1989. In 1994, Dr. Dugan merged
with Redwood Regional Medical Group to form the Napa office for the practice
from 1993 to 2014. In 2014, Dr. Dugan became part of Annadel Medical Group.
