Research from Stanford University has demonstrated that people who actively
participate in a cancer support groups have a significantly longer life
expectancy. Support groups meet regularly at Queen of the Valley to share
ideas, resources and to help one another through the cancer experience.
Bosom Buddies (available in
Spanish) is a particularly popular group supporting women who have been diagnosed
with breast cancer.
Cancer Support Group provides a place for patients with any type of cancer diagnosis to gather.
Caregivers are also welcome to attend.
Young Women Facing Breast Cancer Together brings young survivors to discuss their experiences with others
Prostate Cancer Support Group provides a place for men to gather and discuss their experiences.
