An Important Department Behind The Scenes
The Queen of the Valley medical laboratory is recognized as having a significant
role in our delivery of quality patient care. Since medical laboratory
professionals often work out of the public eye, few people know much about
the critically important testing that the laboratory staff performs every
day. It is estimated that approximately 85 percent of all physician decisions
regarding diagnosis and treatment are based on laboratory test results.
Outpatient Laboratory Services

As of July 1, the outpatient lab, formerly located in the main hospital,
has combined with the outpatient lab, located at 980 Trancas Street, Suite
11 to provide one, centralized location that offers an expanded waiting
room and increased parking.
New Pre-Scheduled Outpatient Lab Appointments
In an effort to reduce wait time, we are pleased to announce patients
will be able to schedule an appointment for lab services in advance of
their visit, starting August 1. While patients are always welcome to walk
into the lab without a pre-scheduled appointment, patients may find that
booking in advance minimizes wait time and increases convenience.
Starting August 1, patients or physicians can schedule an appointment in
advance by calling our Central Scheduling department at (707) 257-4036.
Central Scheduling representatives will be available to schedule appointments
during the following hours of operation:
- Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m.-noon and 1 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
- Friday from 8:00 a.m.-noon.
