Cardiac Rehabilitation

A few weeks after cardiac surgery or a cardiac event, patients are referred to phase II Cardiac Rehabilitation. The program involves regular exercise sessions monitored by Registered Nurses, dietary counseling, and stress management. Insurance covers some diagnoses, and if not, there is an affordable self-pay option. Once one has completed phase II, which lasts for about 12 weeks, one can continue in our phase III Maintenance Program under the guidance of our trained and caring nurses.

The Wellness Center also offers a series of Healthy Heart Classes that are open to the public and all Cardiac Rehabilitation patients.
