What to Expect as a New Patient
Please bring your medical records, insurance card, a list of all medications you are taking, and a list of allergies you may have to your first appointment. You'll undergo a thorough diagnostic examination to identify the type of wound and underlying causes.
Prior to your first appointment, please read the Patient Welcome Letter. Also, please print out and bring a completed copy of the
Patient Medical History Form to your first appointment. Printed copies of the "Patient Medical History Form" are also available at our office.
The first appointment could last up to two hours. Based on this initial exam, an individually tailored treatment plan will be developed for the patient. Subsequent visits can last up to an hour. While you’re being treated at the Queen of the Valley Wound Care Center, please inform your nurse of any changes in your treatment or medication regime.
