QUEEN OF THE VALLEY FOUNDATION HOSTS 25th ANNUAL REACH FOR THE STARS, A QUEEN’S CELEBRATION

Queen of the Valley Foundation is proud to present its 25th annual fashion show and luncheon, Reach for the Stars, A Queen’s Celebration. This beloved event will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Silverado Resort and Spa.

The funds raised at Reach for the Stars provide support services for individuals diagnosed with cancer, including fully funding the Queen of the Valley’s Cancer Wellness Program which offers a personalized exercise plan, nutritional counseling, and psycho-social and spiritual support.

In January, the 12-year-old program welcomed its 1,000th participant. With a physician’s referral, the 12-week wellness program is available at no charge to all cancer patients who reside in the Napa Valley, regardless of where they treated and for all cancer patients treated at the Queen, regardless of where they live.

Reach for the Stars’ iconic fashion show features cancer patients and survivors of all ages and in all stages of recovery on the runway. This year’s event will honor philanthropist, entrepreneur and cancer survivor, Lauren Ackerman. Ms. Ackerman will share the stage with 38 models who demonstrate resilience in the face of adversity.

Reach for the Stars would not be possible without the support of its guests and sponsors, including Ackerman Family Vineyards, Bank of Marin, Linda and Ed Barwick, Biagi Brothers, Napa Valley Care Center, Progeny, Queen of the Valley Medical Center and Radiology Medical Group of Napa.
