As a Volunteer…

You will have the opportunity to work in a wide variety of departments within the Hospital. Whether your interests lie in working with patients and their families, clerical or business interests, Queen of the Valley Volunteer Services has a place for you.

Patient Services Team

Volunteer Services is organizing a service team that will work directly with patients to provide services that assist patients during their stay in the hospital. These services include but are not limited to the following:

• Keeping company with a patient
• Providing entertainment options such as music, games, etc.
• Reading to a patient or writing (letters, notes, memoirs) on behalf of a patient.
• Providing shopping services at The Queen's Collection (gift shop).
• Basic grooming services (hair brushing/combing, make-up application)

Volunteers who sign up early for this service will be able to choose between a regular assignment or being on call. If you enjoy making a direct impact on patients, this is the service for you. If you are interested, please call at 707-257-4009.
