California Nurses Association (CNA) and Queen of the Valley Ratify Contract

We are pleased to share that nurses represented by the California Nurses Association (CNA) at Queen of the Valley Medical Center voted to approve our next contract.

The hospital and union have been meeting at the bargaining table several times a month since negotiations began last June. The three-year agreement covers the period from ratification through June 2023.

“We are grateful that the negotiations are behind us and I want to thank all the team members who worked together to get us where we are today,” said Larry Coomes, chief executive. “Together, we will continue to focus what matters most: providing compassionate and safe care to our patients, their families and our community.”

The agreement reflects the hospital’s commitment to ensuring an exceptional workplace experience for nurses and all of its caregivers and includes competitive wages and benefits, professional growth opportunities, and ensures a safe and respectful work environment.
