  • Biography

Dr. Tawhid R. Gazi was born and raised in Connecticut where his Dad, also a gastroenterologist, is still in practice. He received his education from Tufts University in Boston, where he completed a residency in internal medicine followed by a fellowship in interventional gastroenterology. He is qualified to provide full spectrum GI care, from screening colonoscopies to complex pancreatic procedures. His personal philosophy is to provide collaborative care to all his patients in a warm community environment that still offers all the cutting edge therapies of an academic center. His particular interests include Endoscopic Ultrasound and Endoscopic weight loss (Orbera) which both achieve excellent results while sparing patients invasive surgeries, hospital stays, and scars. He is fluent in Spanish.

There was way too long between appointments and continuity was lost. Imaging that I had sent to the office was not in my chart, and the some lab results were not even discussed. I left without answers to my questions because we got off topic.
    Good staff.
See previous comments. It was a very fast rushed appointment. But I did like the Dr. and he seemed very capable and kind. I just didnt feel like I had much time and he seemed to be in a rush, probably running behind. I get that that happens in Dr. Offices, my dad is a dentist. I just wish it was less of a whirl wind. But I did like the Dr.
I realize I may have been worked in, but in general observation he appears to over book. 5-8 min 1st tie patient seems lacking interest. (He actually accomplished his duty for ordering tests. I came away thinking I could never pick him out of a crowd. #5. Not discussed.
doctor is very good but spent less than 2 minutes in the room. felt very rushed
