    Dr. Kaplan is a member of the American Urological Association, the Endourological Society and is board eligible in Urology. He completed his fellowship in Endourology and Robotic Urologic Surgery at Duke University. Prior to that, he completed medical school, General Surgery internship and Urology residency at the University of California Irvine (UCI) Medical Center. Dr. Kaplan specializes in robotic surgery for a variety of benign and malignant urologic disorders. He also has specialty training in cutting edge percutaneous and endoscopic techniques for treating complex kidney stone disease.

    • Kidney stone disease
    • Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
    • Ureteropelvic Junction obstruction (UPJ)

    Dr. Kaplan moved to Sonoma County with his family to be part of our great community and he looks forward to offering new surgical options that translate to less time in the hospital, less blood loss, and faster recovery.

    I think Dr. Kaplan is very good at taking the time to explain things. He also had me read Dr. Patrick Walsh's "Surviving Prostate Cancer".
    I felt Dr. Kaplan was 100% attentive to my health issues and I never felt rushed to finish our conversations.
