Our acute rehabilitation program is designed to meet the needs of our patients throughout every stage of their recovery. We can assist you in your progress from the acute hospital stay into your rehabilitation, and then help you get situated as you return back home into your living environment.

What should I expect during treatment?

We suggest that patients bring:

  • Three changes of loose-fitting, comfortable clothing
  • Sturdy, low-heeled shoes
  • Undergarments
  • Robes or nightclothes
  • Sweater or jacket

During your treatment, we ask that you wear comfortable clothes that do not restrict your range of motion. We do ask that you or your family launder any clothing to ensure maximum comfort and hygiene within our facilities.

Your family and your caregivers (if needed) are encouraged to take an active role in your recovery and rehabilitation. We ask our patients to always consult our team of expert rehabilitation therapists before observing or participating in any treatment session. Some restriction may be necessary depending on the injury or the illness of the patient. We always warmly welcome any visitors and family members during your journey through rehabilitation.

Getting You Back into the Community Quickly

We work hard to discharge you back into your home safely and quickly. Discharge planning can begin upon the time of your admission. A case manager or social worker can assist you and your family with planning and taking proper care of all of your discharge needs. From ordering any necessary equipment and providing home care referrals to offering outpatient therapy, we want to be at your side from beginning to end. We can also connect you or refer you to various health care services within your community to ensure you receive the best possible ongoing treatment.
