Adult Day Services
Adult Day Services of Napa Valley, a division of Hospice of Napa Valley, provides comprehensive health care, rehabilitative therapies, social services, and personal care for frail, elderly persons, as well as younger functionality impaired adults. Services are designed to help patients restore, improve or maintain their physical and mental functioning and to prevent repeated hospitalizations and premature nursing home placement. They also provide family caregivers with a well-needed break.
There are two programs available:
The Adult Day Health Care program offers an alternative to nursing home placement, while the Adult Day Care program gives participants an opportunity to engage in social activities and recreation in a friendly, supportive environment. The special needs of patients with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias are addressed through the Adult Day Support Care program.
