    Dr. Pratap is a board certified gastroenterologist with over 13 years over experience in treating gastrointestinal diseases. A native of Chicago, she received her MD degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago before completing a internal medicine internship and residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She then completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Boston University Medical Center . Prior to moving to California in 2016, Dr. Pratap was on staff at the Northwestern University Medicine- Lake Forest Campus. When she is not with patients, Dr. Pratap enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She loves to travel, read and go on hikes. Dr. Pratap received her medical training at some of the most prestigious training programs in the country. She has performed a high volume of endoscopic procedures since completing training over 13 years ago. She cares for her patients as she would for a member of her own family.
