Day for The Queen On August 22, 2008, Queen of the Valley Medical Center Foundation’s longest-running fundraising event will be held at Silverado Resort and Spa. This popular event will include golf and tennis tournaments, a fashion show and luncheon, an evening barbeque, an auction. The Queen’s 50th celebration will be capped off with dancing under the stars to the sounds of Pride and Joy! Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Queen’s new PET/CT scanner.
