Napa, CA – In honor of National Heart Health Awareness month, Queen of the Valley Medical Center will host author and national speaker Joe Piscatella, Thursday, February 28th at the historic Barrel Room at the Vintage Estate in Yountville.
In 1977 Joe Piscatella was a successful businessman with a wife and two young children. One day while playing tennis, Mr. Piscatella experienced discomfort in his chest and went in for a routine physical exam. Two days later he had emergency open-heart bypass surgery for a 95% blockage of the coronary arteries. He was 32 years old.
Forced to make changes in this life, Mr. Piscatella began to create a plan for a healthy, balanced life-style that he could implement.
In 1982 he founded the Institute for Fitness and Health, which helps organizations support healthy, balanced lifestyles of employees. Today, Joe Piscatella, 61, is one of the country's leading authorities on changing behavior to increase health and productivity.
Joe Piscatella’s inspirational story will captivate and motivate audience members. He teaches life-balance principles that everyone can use to increase the quality of their life.
